Welder – 1G & 2G Certified / Weld Test Required

Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is hiring experienced Welders for an indoor steel fabrication environment in Pocatello. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale, custom steel projects that end up in some pretty impressive places.
What You'll Do:
· Perform MIG welding on steel components and fabricated structures
· Read and follow welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications
· Weld in 1G and 2G positions
· Perform quality welds with proper penetration, appearance, and consistency
· Fabricate and assemble steel components
· Measure, fit, tack, and weld steel accurately
· Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and welding equipment
· Maintain a clean and safe work area
· Follow all company safety and quality standards
Requirements:
· Previous professional welding experience
· Must be able to pass a 1G and 2G weld test
· Experience with MIG welding / wire welding
· Ability to read and understand welding drawings or blueprints
· Ability to measure and work with steel accurately
· Comfortable working in a warehouse/fabrication environment
· Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
· Ability to safely use welding equipment and related tools
