Gem State Staffing-Caldwell is seeking an experienced Material Handler for a local manufacturing company. This temp-to-hire position is located in Caldwell, ID. Excellent employer with a great reputation in the community.  This is a swing shift schedule. 

Material Handlers are responsible for overseeing the transportation, preparation, and staging of materials for daily production. Among the duties of this position are to load, unload, and move materials, to track inventory levels, and to maintain workstation supplies. This includes the documentation of the products as well. You will move back and forth between the warehouse and the production floor to make part deliveries. A lot of walking.

 Requirements:

• Maintain an adequate supply of materials and supplies at assembly workstations.
• Assist with the processing of orders, handling inventory management tasks, and facilitating the retrieval of components.
• Ensure that materials are staged and delivered on time and accurately in accordance with production schedules.
• Ensure that material usage records are kept meticulously and participate actively in the scheduling process.
• Ensure that you are capable of following management instructions diligently while at the same time working independently to meet predetermined schedules.
• Assist in the general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and perform various tasks, such as standing, kneeling, sitting, and climbing stairs. This position requires walking for the duration of the entire shift.

• Swing Shift: Monday-Thursday: 2:00pm-12:30am. Might work some Fridays.
• Temp-to-hire opportunity
• $20.00hr-$23.00hr DOE
• Weekly payroll, every Friday for last weeks hours
