Job Summary

Gem State Staffing in Idaho Falls is now hiring an experienced Warehouse Handler to join our growing team!
The Warehouse Handler will be responsible for operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment to safely move, locate, relocate, and stack products. This position supports accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of materials to meet productivity, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
• Fill, relabel, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Move trailers using a yard hustler between production and warehouse areas
• Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and quality checks
• Repack, relabel, and inspect product for accuracy and condition
• Work with drivers on special loading needs and trailer organization
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day shipping or inventory issues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must pass a medical fitness test, background check, and drug screen
• Proven forklift operation experience required
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs by hand
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with team members and multiple departments
