Gem State Staffing is hiring a dependable and skilled Class A CDL Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a driver with experience hauling trailers, specifically a gooseneck trailer and someone who is mechanically inclined and willing to assist with shop duties. You will primarily operate a 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 and transport equipment usually to Pasco, WA and other regional locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 used for commercial deliveries.

• Haul a gooseneck trailer carrying motors and other heavy equipment.

• Perform regular long-distance routes, especially to Pasco, Washington, with occasional overnight trips (typically one night).

• Handle local deliveries and assist with shop tasks as needed.

• Conduct routine vehicle and trailer inspections; ensure mechanical readiness.

• Secure loads according to DOT safety regulations.

• Maintain delivery logs, schedules, and accurate documentation.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and shop management.

Qualifications:

• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. 
• Clean driving record with experience in commercial driving.
• Experience hauling trailers, especially gooseneck trailers, strongly preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to assist with basic shop tasks and equipment handling.
• Ability to lift, move, and secure heavy loads.
• Strong work ethic, safety awareness, and good communication skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Minimum age: 21 (DOT requirement for crossing state lines in company vehicles).
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs, bend, twist, crouch, and stoop frequently.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Compensation:

• Starting wage of at least $17.00+ per hour, with higher pay offered based on:

  • Commercial driving experience

  • Trailer-hauling experience

  • Mechanical abilities

  • Certifications or additional qualifications

• Competitive pay increases based on performance and experience.
