Box Truck Driver – Local Furniture Delivery

 Location: Boise, ID

Company: Gem State Staffing – Boise

Pay: $18/hour (DOE)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, with possible overtime

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary

As a Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for loading furniture, delivering items to residential and commercial locations, and helping to close down the warehouse at the end of the day. This position requires physical stamina, a professional attitude, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload furniture and related items
  • Operate a box truck to complete local deliveries
  • Assist in weighing and securing loads before transport
  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers
  • Help close and clean the warehouse at the end of each shift
  • Follow all company safety and operational procedures
  • Adhere to schedules and time constraints

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Prior box truck or delivery experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted throughout the shift
  • Professional, clean-cut appearance and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime, Saturdays, and holidays as needed
