Gem State Staffing in Boise is currently recruiting and accepting applications for 30 snow removal and deicing laborer positions in the Boise area.

Job Description:

This is a seasonal position for the winter months. Candidates will be working on a variety of client facilities removing snow from their grounds. Candidates must be available at all times and be ready to meet at job sites upon snow fall. Employees will be contacted off a call list once approved. This is a weather dependent position.

This position pays $27.50 per hour.

Requirements:

Qualified applicants will need to possess the following skills and background requirements:

• Candidates must dress accordingly for cold winter weather
• Candidates must be available to work at any given hour of the day or night and stand by on call
• Must be able to work in cold outside winter weather conditions for extended shifts
• Must be able to be on your feet for an entire shift
• Must be able to consistently bend and lift for an entire shift
• Must be able to consistently lift at minimum 40 pounds repetitively for an entire shift
• Maintain high level of attendance standards
• Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
