Job Description

Gem State Staffing in Boise is seeking an experienced NCCCO Friction Crane Operator to operate a Link-Belt 238 (140 Ton) or similar crane on several upcoming projects in Boise, Idaho. This position offers long-term, stable employment opportunities following the completion of current projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company-owned cranes on active job sites
  • Perform daily and monthly equipment maintenance and inspections
  • Follow all recognized industry hand signals and rigging practices

Qualifications:

  • NCCCO Certification (required)
  • Proven experience operating friction cranes (minimum of 10 years)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work safely in varying climates and job site conditions
  • Experience with pile driving operations
  • Experience operating equipment such as:
    • Link-Belt 218A
    • American 5100
    • Soilmec 120 Duty Cycle
    • Tadano Mantis (40-ton to 200-ton hydraulic telecrawler)
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and hard-working
  • Able to use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Schedule: Monday – Friday (some Saturdays)

Compensation: $35.00/hr. - $45.00/hr. DOE
