Gem State Staffing-Caldwell is seeking a Hydro Cleaner Operator for a trusted leader in underground infrastructure services. Our client specializes in pipeline cleaning, inspection, manhole rehabilitation, and hydro excavation, providing high-quality, safe solutions for municipalities and utility companies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely operate hydro jetting and vacuum trucks for sewer and storm drain cleaning.
• Set up proper traffic control and maintain job site safety in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Select appropriate nozzles and adjust water pressure based on pipe material and specific conditions.
• Identify blockages (roots, grease, debris) and structural deficiencies during cleaning operations.
• Work alongside CCTV operators to prepare lines for inspection and assist with confined space entry procedures.
• Accurately document work performed, footage cleaned, and all relevant line observations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain equipment cleanliness and organization.

   

Requirements

• Must possess a valid CDL Class A or Class B with a Tanker endorsement.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check and drug testing.
• Previous experience is a plus, but not required—comprehensive hands-on training is provided.
• Adherence to all safety protocols, including PPE requirements and hazard awareness.
• Ability to perform physically active work in Idaho weather conditions.
• Ability to travel for out-of-town work (Pacific Northwest). Road trips are usually 7-10 days on, 4 days off.

• Starting pay rate $25.00-$32.00/hr DOE
• ·Per Diem and hotel paid for out-of-town work
