Gem State Staffing is hiring a dependable Shipping Technician for a full-time manufacturing and shipping position. This role supports daily shipping, production, warehouse, and material-handling operations, including operating equipment, organizing shipments, maintaining records, and following safety procedures.Work environment  may involve moderate to loud noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, oil, grease, airborne particles, heights, and confined areas. Safety awareness and proper use of PPE and equipment are essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily shipping and material-handling duties.
• Organize and prioritize work according to production and shipping schedules.
• Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely.
• Maintain or obtain forklift certification as required.
• Follow shipping procedures and company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records and complete basic data entry.
• Communicate with the Shipping Supervisor, production team, leads, and other departments.
• Provide support and training on shipping procedures after becoming proficient.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist other production areas when needed.
• Manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and changing priorities.
• Handle and store chemicals and hazardous materials according to company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
