Job Overview
Gem State Staffing-Caldwell is seeking a reliable Primary Operator for a local manufacturing client. This role focuses on a rotational molding oven and is responsible for the finishing and assembly of plastic molded parts. This is a temporary role with the opportunity to transition into a long-term, full-time position, at which point you will be eligible for the organization’s benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
• Quality Control: Identify quality issues and verify that molds match the specifications listed in the computer system.
• Part Finishing: Trim plastic parts using routers, saws, and air tools.
• Production Support: Pull parts in accordance with manufacturing practices and keep pace with the oven.
• Quality Control: Identify quality issues and verify that molds match the specifications listed in the computer system.
• Technical Tasks: Read prints and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
• Operational Safety: Maintain a clean, safe workspace and notify supervisors of any identified issues.
• Team Collaboration: Assist other primary and secondary operations or ovens as time permits.

Requirements
• Technical Skills: Experience using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Reading Prints: Ability to read and interpret prints and specifications.
• Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 10–30 lbs regularly throughout the day and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Environment: Able to work in a hot, humid environment for extended periods around loud noises.
• Physical Mobility: Ability to remain stationary with intermediate walking and frequent maneuvering around parts.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with leads and supervisors.
• Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Job Details
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Pay: $18.00/hour, paid weekly every Friday for the previous week’s hours.
