Gem State Staffing is now hiring Packaging Operators to join a local manufacturing facility. As a Packaging Operator, you will operate and maintain packaging machinery to ensure products are packaged correctly, efficiently, and safely. This is an excellent opportunity to build your skills in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Duties Include:

• Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging machines and production line equipment to maintain steady workflow and meet production goals.
• Conduct quality control checks to verify products meet company and customer specifications.
• Load raw materials into machines and inspect finished products for errors or defects.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and equipment adjustments as needed.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to maintenance and supervisors.
• Keep accurate records of production counts, downtime, and equipment checks.
• Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Maintain a clean, organized work area, including sweeping and mopping under machines.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Packaging Operator, Production Worker, Machine Operator, or in a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn operation of packaging equipment.
• Dependable work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Shifts- Nights -7pm-7am

Work Environment:

Exposure to loud machinery, moving mechanical parts, and manufacturing equipment.

Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion.
