Job Description

Gem State Staffing is hiring a full-time Receiving Clerk for a client in Twin Falls, Idaho. This warehouse receiving position is responsible for inspecting, verifying, and processing incoming shipments. Ideal candidates will have receiving experience, forklift certification, and strong attention to detail. This is a temp-to-permanent job with growth potential in the shipping & receiving department.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and process raw materials, products, and shipments.

  • Match deliveries with purchase orders; review paperwork for accuracy.

  • Enter data and update purchase orders in the system.

  • Inspect materials/products for compliance with requirements.

  • Process returns (RMA’s) and vendor rejections.

  • Scan, save, and maintain shipping/receiving records.

  • Operate forklift safely.

  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with ISO/AS9100 standards.

  • Perform additional shipping and receiving duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Previous receiving or warehouse experience.

  • Forklift certification/experience required.

  • Computer proficiency (data entry, email, Microsoft Office).

  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must wear steel-toed boots/shoes and PPE.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.

  •  Must be careful during work to avoid injury.

  • Must have own reliable transportation to and from job site.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
