Gem State Staffing is currently seeking a General Laborer for Grounds Maintenance in Jerome, Idaho. This is a great opportunity for a hard-working individual looking for outdoor labor work, entry-level general labor, or hands-on shop experience. The employer is willing to train motivated candidates who are dependable and safety-focused.
Spraying weeds and performing general grounds upkeep
Cutting pipes and assisting with material preparation
Loading and unloading equipment, tools, and products
Assisting with flipping and repairing gates
Helping in the shop and supporting the welder as needed
Performing other general labor tasks as assigned
This position involves outdoor work and physical labor throughout the workday.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Jerome, ID
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong awareness of and commitment to workplace safety practices
Willingness to learn; employer will train the right candidate
Shop experience is a plus but not required
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive movements
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
