Gem State Staffing-Caldwell is hiring a Blaster to join a small, dynamic team at a growing company in a brand-new facility in Caldwell, ID. This temp-to-hire position offers the opportunity to become a permanent team member with a company specializing in preparing metal surfaces for protective coatings used in building construction.

Responsibilities

• Operate a steel shot blaster within a specially designed enclosure to prepare metal surfaces.
• Remove rust, dirt, and other materials from metal to ensure proper surface preparation for industrial painting.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with a small team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; all training provided by the client.
• Ability to work 4 10-hour shifts, with occasional Friday shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to learn and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
