Job Description

Gem State Staffing is accepting applications for hard-working individuals seeking temporary/day labor to fill a variety of open positions throughout Southeast Idaho. General laborers are needed on a regular basis to fill short-term job orders – sometimes for a half or full day, sometimes for a week, sometimes for a month. Some jobs have the potential to become permanent positions, as well.

Job Description: Work includes (but is not limited to) Event Set-up, commercial property/business clean-up, warehouse labor, furniture/equipment moving, assembly and farm labor. Laborers can expect to be assigned varied but basic tasks by their on-site supervisors, and the work can be repetitive.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to work long hours, as necessary.
  • Ability to repetitively stand, bend, twist, crouch, and stoop for extended periods
  • Ability to repetitively lift 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to work safely within the established safety program.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and personal transportation (unless job is within walking distance of our office).
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screenings

Location: Varies; SOUTHEAST IDAHO

Pay rate: Varies; avg. $15.00-$17.00/hour
