Day Laborer
Location: Nampa, Idaho Pay Rate: Starting at $17.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Varies based on assignment. Day shifts available Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend opportunities.

Gem State Staffing-Nampa is seeking dependable and hardworking Day Laborers to fill a variety of temporary assignments throughout the Treasure Valley. This position is ideal for individuals who are flexible, reliable, and ready to work in different environments. Assignments may include warehouse work, construction cleanup, material handling, landscaping, manufacturing support, moving assistance, and other general labor duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks as assigned by the client or supervisor.
• Load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
• Clean and prepare work sites.
• Assist with warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or landscaping projects.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely (when applicable).
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete assignments with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Treasure Valley.
• Flexibility to accept different job assignments and schedules.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Previous general labor experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen (if required by the client).
