Plant Shutdown Turnaround – Industrial Labor / Maintenance Support (Temporary Project)

Location: Pocatello, ID *NO PER DIEM OR HOUSING OFFERED, MUST BE ABLE TO INTERVIEW PHYSICALLY IN THE OFFICE
Pay: $20/Hour + guaranteed overtime *paid weekly
Schedule: Long shifts, rotating schedules, nights/weekends required *72-hour workweeks, must be able to attend the full 4–8-week project
Duration: Temporary shutdown project (dates TBD – early to MID 2026)

Job Overview

Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is actively building a high-performing shutdown turnaround team for a large, well-established industrial processing facility in Pocatello. This is a temporary, high-demand project requiring dependable workers who can commit fully to the schedule and expectations of a plant shutdown.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with industrial, plant, warehouse, construction, or maintenance experience looking to earn strong pay, overtime, and gain valuable turnaround experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Support plant shutdown and turnaround operations

· Perform general labor, cleanup, and material handling

· Assist maintenance and production teams as directed

· Follow all safety procedures and plant rules

· Work long shifts in a fast-paced industrial environment

· Maintain attendance and punctuality throughout the entire shutdown

Required Qualifications

· Ability to commit to the full shutdown schedule (no conflicting obligations)

· Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime

· Reliable transportation to and from the job site

· Ability to pass pre-employment screening

· Strong work ethic and team-first attitude

· Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in industrial conditions

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

· Previous shutdown or turnaround experience

· Industrial plant, manufacturing, or production work

· Construction, maintenance, mechanical, or warehouse experience

· Confined space or safety training (a plus)
