Job Description

Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is now hiring dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Snow Removal Team for the upcoming winter season! If you don’t mind cold weather, love early mornings, and take pride in keeping things clean and safe — this job is for you.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Shovel and remove snow from walkways, parking lots, driveways, and building entrances
  • Operate snow blowers, plows, and other snow removal equipment (experience a plus)
  • Apply de-icer or salt to surfaces to prevent ice buildup
  • Work safely in cold and sometimes fast-paced conditions
  • Communicate effectively with team leads and follow instructions

Requirements

  • Must be reliable and ready to work during early morning or overnight snow events
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license preferred (some positions require it)
  • Previous snow removal or landscaping experience is a plus, but not required
