Location: Rexburg, ID
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (overtime may be available)
Job Type: Full-time, In-person

Gem State Staffing in Rexburg is hiring General Construction Laborers to support local construction projects. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role perfect for motivated individuals looking to gain experience in the construction industry or expand their skills.

As a Construction Laborer, you will assist skilled tradespeople, prepare job sites, handle materials, and ensure projects run smoothly. No prior experience is required, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with construction site preparation and cleanup
  • Load, unload, and move materials and equipment
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely
  • Dig, shovel, and perform other physical labor tasks as needed
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
  • Support skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
  • Prior construction experience is a plus but not required
  • Steel-toed boots and appropriate PPE required
