Gem State Staffing is hiring Food Processing and Production Line Associates for multiple food manufacturing facilities in Rexburg and Idaho Falls. These are entry-level, full-time positions with paid, on-the-job training provided. Job Responsibilities – Food Production / Line Associate:

• Processing, packaging, and preparing food products on a production line
• Inspecting food products for quality, safety, and compliance
• Protecting production capacity by maintaining efficient workflow
• Observing all machinery for safe operation within assigned areas
• Assisting with packaging, labeling, and palletizing as needed
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
• Performing wet and dry sanitation duties, including:
• Cleaning machinery, product belts, floors, pipes, and walls
• Using high-pressure hoses and approved cleaning agents
• Participating in regular safety and sanitation inspections
• Following Lock, Tag, and Try procedures for equipment safety
• Complying with all company policies, food safety standards, and OSHA regulations

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify employer)
• No prior experience required – training provided
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand and remain on your feet for entire 12-hour shifts
• Comfortable working in a cool, industrial food production environment
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, grasp, and go up/down stairs for extended periods
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment
• Must have reliable transportation
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Previous food processing, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is preferred but not required
