General Labor – Potato Processing Plant (Box Handling & Palletizing)

Location: Pocatello, ID
Full-Time | Multiple Shifts Available | Weekly Pay

Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is now hiring General Laborers to work in a local potato processing plant. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals looking to get started in the food production or warehouse industry.

Job Requirements

- Job Duties:

  • Reach, lift, and grab boxes of processed potatoes from conveyor lines
  • Bend and squat to palletize boxes in an organized and safe manner
  • Wrap pallets and prep for shipping
  • Keep work area clean and free of debris
  • Follow all safety guidelines in a fast-paced production environment
  • Perform other general labor tasks as assigned

- Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
  • Comfortable with repetitive motion, bending, reaching, and squatting
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-moving production area
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Steel-toed boots required
  • No prior experience necessary – we will train!
