Gem State Staffing is seeking experienced Fabrication and Welding Specialists to support operations at a dehydrated potato processing facility. This role requires hands-on expertise in welding and metal fabrication to maintain, repair, and fabricate equipment essential to potato processing. Candidates must have practical experience beyond general knowledge, ensuring high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced, food-industry environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks (MIG, TIG, Stick) on processing equipment and structural components
• Fabricate and repair metal parts for machinery used in potato dehydration and processing
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Inspect and maintain quality and safety standards for all fabricated components
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and food industry standards
• Maintain organized work areas and proper tool handling

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of welding tools, equipment, and safety procedures
• Detail-oriented with commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Experience working in a food processing or industrial manufacturing environment is a plus
