Job Description:
Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is now hiring Entry-Level Landscape Laborers and Irrigation (Sprinkler) Technicians in the Pocatello area! If you enjoy working outdoors and want to build hands-on skills in landscaping and irrigation systems, this is a great opportunity to get started.
This role includes assisting with landscape installation, maintenance, and sprinkler system setup and repair. No experience? No problem — we’re willing to train motivated individuals!
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with landscape installation and maintenance
· Install, repair, and maintain sprinkler/irrigation systems
· Dig trenches, lay pipe, and perform basic plumbing tasks
· Load/unload materials and tools
· Perform general labor duties as assigned
· Follow all safety procedures and job site guidelines
Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. consistently
· Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
· Reliable transportation to job sites
· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule:
· Monday–Friday
· Rotating weekends as needed
· Overtime opportunities available
Pay & Benefits:
· $12–$15/hour depending on experience
· Overtime available
