Gem State Staffing is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Grain Elevator Operator to join our team in Burley, ID. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our grain handling equipment, ensuring efficient flow of raw materials for production, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate grain elevator equipment, conveyors, and related machinery to transport, store, and manage grain.
• Monitor grain quality and inventory levels, reporting any issues to management.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading grain shipments, including using forklifts or other equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate records of grain movement, quality checks, and equipment inspections.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in grain handling, milling, or production operations preferred.
• Ability to operate industrial equipment safely (forklifts, conveyors, elevators).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Flexible to work varied shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Work Environment:

• Grain storage and processing facility.
• Exposure to dust, noise, and changing temperatures.
• Emphasis on teamwork, safety, and operational efficiency.

Shifts:

• Mon-Fri with some Saturdays
