Gem State Staffing is seeking a reliable delivery driver/courier for a full-time position in Twin Falls. The employee will deliver office supplies and pharmacy products customers throughout the Magic Valley, Wood River Valley, and Mini-Cassia areas. Given the nature of all of the assigned tasks, qualified applicants must have excellent customer service skills, an aptitude for learning and effectively relating product information, a self-motivated and hard-working attitude, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, he/she will load equipment into the assigned company vehicle (either a box truck or transport van) and deliver it to various customer locations. At each delivery site, the employee will unload and install the equipment per the client’s needs.

Position 1: Day Shift Delivery Driver

Schedule:

• Start at 7:00 AM (occasionally earlier with notice)

• 10–12 hour shifts, 4 days per week (days TBD)

Job Duties:

• Safely drive a 26 ft. Box Truck – Furniture Delivery & In-Home Installation

• Operate or quickly learn to use a lift gate

• Deliver and carefully install furniture inside customer homes

• Provide friendly, professional customer service

Position 2: Night Shift Delivery Driver

Schedule:

• Start at 8:00 PM

• 6–8 hour shifts, 5 days per week

• Route: Twin Falls → Boise → Twin Falls

• One day per week may involve a smaller company vehicle

Job Duties:

• Safely drive a 26 ft. Box Truck – Twin Falls to Boise Route

• Drive nightly delivery route

• Load freight in Boise, unload in Twin Falls

• Maintain safe and timely deliveries

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record (last 3 years)
• STAR Card (Real ID) required
• Interview/bio and resume (if available)
• Ability to lift, move, and deliver products safely
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
• No PPE required for most tasks but need Steel-toe boots and warm winter clothing 
• At least one year previous customer service experience or delivery driving
• Ability to pass an Idaho Department of Health and Welfare background check
• Possess a current, tailored resume
• Aptitude for learning, retaining, and relating product information to customers
• Self-directed and self-motivated personality
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, as necessary
• Have a valid Class D drivers license and clean driving record (no SR22)
• Have professional, clean cut appearance
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Job type/duration: Full-time, temporary-to-permanent

Shift: Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week starting at 6:00 AM  

Pay rate: $17.00/hour, Temp-2-Hire with potential for fast pay increases based on performance
