Gem State Staffing in Caldwell is seeking a detail-oriented Deburr & Assembly Operator. In this role, you will play a critical part in the finishing and quality control stages of precision manufacturing. You will be responsible for inspecting, deburring, and assembling precision metal and plastic machined parts using various hand and power tools, ensuring all finished products strictly conform to blueprint specifications.

 Primary Responsibilities

• Utilize fine motor skills along with hand and power tools—including hobby knives, files, orbital sanders, tumblers, and Dremels—to smooth edges and remove imperfections from machined metal and plastic parts.
• Read and accurately interpret electronic or paper blueprints, engineering drawings, and job order specifications prior to processing parts.
• inspect and measure completed parts against blueprint specs to verify accuracy. Utilize microscopes for fine-detail inspections when required.
• Perform simple hand and light tool assembly of product components according to production orders.
• Thoroughly clean and prep processed parts to ensure they are free of debris and ready for final packaging.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Excellent manual dexterity and steady hands for handling delicate metal and plastic parts and operating precision tools.
• Ability to visually compare physical parts against written or electronic blueprints.
• Exceptional focus and dedication to producing high-quality work without overlooking small defects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to comprehend and carry out both written and verbal directions.
• Prior experience or familiarity with hand/power finishing tools and microscopes is a plus.

Pay Rate and Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
• Pay rate: $18.00/hr
