Commercial Gardener
Location: Boise, Meridian, Nampa & Surrounding Areas Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Status: Temp-to-Hire

Gem State Staffing-Nampa is seeking dependable and hardworking Commercial Gardeners to join a well-established landscaping company that has proudly served the Treasure Valley since 1988. In this role, you will help maintain the appearance of commercial properties throughout Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and surrounding areas. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, and thrive in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform weeding, pruning, planting, and general garden bed maintenance.
• Complete seasonal flower and landscape installations.
• Assist with irrigation system checks and basic turf maintenance.
• Safely operate hand tools and landscaping equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.
• Work as part of a landscaping crew to keep commercial properties looking their best.
• Follow all company safety procedures and job site expectations.

Requirements

• Previous commercial landscaping or garden maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with lawn care, grounds maintenance, irrigation, nursery work, or horticulture is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
