Location: Boise / Nampa, Idaho Area Pay Rate: Staring at $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM (overtime may be required)

Gem State Staffing–Nampa is seeking motivated and dependable Flat Roof Laborers to join a well-established commercial roofing crew serving the Treasure Valley. In this hands-on position, you will assist experienced roofers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial flat roofing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in quality workmanship, and are looking to build a long-term career in the roofing industry. Key Responsibilities

• Assist roofing crews with the installation, repair, and replacement of commercial flat roofing systems.
• Carry and stage roofing materials, including insulation, membrane, gravel, and coatings.
• Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely and efficiently.
• Clean and prepare job sites, including tear-offs and debris removal.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects safely and on schedule.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly and performing strenuous manual labor throughout the workday.
• Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Treasure Valley.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a positive attitude.
• Previous construction or roofing experience is preferred but not required—we provide training for motivated candidates.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record are preferred.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
