Job Description

Gem State Staffing in Nampa is seeking candidates for a Delivery Driver with Forklift Operator experience to deliver around the Idaho and Oregon area for a brick manufacturing company based out of Meridian. Qualified individuals will need to have a valid CDL-A.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Candidates will be responsible for, but not limited to: maintaining E-logs, securing loads, maintain equipment and perform safety inspections, transporting products throughout Idaho and Oregon, transporting raw materials to and from the plant, loading and unloading materials by means of hand stacking and/or forklift, on-going product quality inspections.

 

Schedule & Compensation:

 

Day shift: Monday – Friday - OT when needed, including weekends

 

Wage: $21.00/hr DOE

 

Requirements:

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math, reading, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate multiple kinds of forklifts and drive a variety of trucks including:

Flatbed, Cement Trailers, Dump Truck, Semi, Doubles, and Dump pup.

  • Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or
  • crawling, reach with hands and arms.
  • Lifting up-to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures
  • Pre-employment drug screen
  • Reliable and regular attendance
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Stable work history
