Job Description

Gem State Staffing is now hiring an Experienced Sheet Metal Installer to work on residential and commercial construction projects throughout the Magic Valley area, including Twin Falls and surrounding communities. This is a full-time position with overtime available for motivated, dependable candidates with a proven construction background.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and secure sheet metal components on residential and commercial buildings

  • Measure, cut, and fit materials using tape measures, saws, and hand tools

  • Work efficiently on active construction sites while following job specifications

  • Safely lift and transport materials up to 75 lbs

  • Maintain productivity with minimal supervision

  • Follow all company safety policies, attendance standards, and jobsite regulations

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Installer or skilled construction worker

  • Ability to read and use a measuring tape accurately

  • Experience working on residential and commercial construction sites

  • Must provide own tool bags, hand tools, and work boots

  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs consistently in various work environments

  • Comfortable working in outdoor and changing weather conditions

  • Strong focus, reliability, and ability to work independently

  • Valid driver’s license required

 

Physical & Work Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials throughout the workday

  • Ability to stand, bend, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks

  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying schedules

 

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test

  • Must pass a background check (no violent offenses within the last 5 years)

 

Pay & Schedule

  • $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE)

  • Full-time with overtime and weekend work available

  • Work sites throughout the Magic Valley, Idaho
