Job Description

Gem State Staffing is hiring a Concrete Cutter for a full-time position in Jerome. Will consist of general construction work as well as concrete and groundwork. No experience is necessary, client is willing to train the right person!

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark materials for cutting based on project specifications.
- Operate cutting equipment such as saws, shears, or tile cutters to cut materials to the desired size and shape.
- Follow blueprints, drawings, or instructions to ensure accurate cuts.
- Inspect and verify the quality of the cut materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must have Valid driver’s license
  • Pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Applicant must be able to work long hours that are physically demanding
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Be self-motivated and punctual
  • Proficient in heavy lifting and able to handle materials of various sizes and weights.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and cutting materials

Job Type: Full-time/Temp-to-Hire

Experience: None Required, Willing to train

Shift: Days; 7:00am-5:00pm
