Job Description

Gem State Staffing is seeking a qualified Water Truck Driver to join our team! This position involves safely operating a water truck that will be used for snow removal needs.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced with commercial driving in a construction or industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate water truck to transport and distribute water to job sites.
  • Safely load, transport, and unload water while following all DOT and site safety regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain and clean truck and equipment as needed.
  • Monitor water levels and spray patterns to ensure effective coverage.
  • Assist with other site duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement (N).
  • Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

In 10plus years at these locations I’ve worked as a Customer Service Representative, Assistant Manager, and Manager. I specialize in recruiting, onboarding, payroll, employee management among other things.  When I’m not at work, I enjoy hanging out with friends, board games, and taking in Boise’s beautiful wild life and landscape with hikes and nature walks.
