CDL Concrete Driver – General Labor Support
Pay: $21.50 per hour
Location: Pocatello, ID & Surrounding Areas
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is hiring a CDL concrete driver. Are you a dependable CDL Driver who enjoys being on the road but doesn’t mind jumping out of the truck and helping the team when needed? We are looking for a motivated CDL Concrete Driver to join a hardworking team in the Pocatello area!
This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in safe driving, operating equipment, and being a team player. While your main responsibility will be driving and delivering concrete, candidates who are willing to assist with general labor, jobsite cleanup, material handling, and helping the crew when deliveries are complete are highly preferred.
Schedule:
· Monday–Friday
· 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
· Occasional overtime may be available depending on workload and project needs
Responsibilities:
· Safely operate a CDL concrete delivery truck
· Deliver concrete to residential and commercial job sites throughout Pocatello and surrounding areas
· Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
· Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and communicate with dispatch and jobsite teams
· Safely maneuver trucks in various work environments and jobsite conditions
· Wash out and maintain equipment as required
· Assist with general labor tasks when needed, including:
· Site cleanup
· Moving materials
· Assisting concrete crews
· Other hands-on tasks to support daily operations
· Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
· Valid CDL (Class A or B preferred depending on truck requirements)
· Current medical card required
· Clean driving record preferred
· Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle
· Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed
· Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
· Strong attendance and reliability are required
· Must be willing to get out of the truck and help when needed
· Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
Preferred Experience:
· Previous concrete, construction, dump truck, mixer truck, delivery, or construction labor experience is a plus
· Experience working around construction sites or heavy equipment is helpful but not required
