Pay: $18.00-24+ per hour, DOE

Job Description:
Gem State Staffing – Idaho Falls is hiring an experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to operate 10-wheel flatbed trucks with a crane. This is a local driving position with steady daytime hours—home every night. We are looking for a reliable driver with strong safety habits, experience with flatbed loads, and the ability to handle some physical labor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a CDL Class A 
  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials
  • Perform manual unloading of 50+ lbs
  • Drive standard/manual transmission
  • Operate a forklift when needed
  • Perform daily DOT-compliant pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and follow all DOT and company safety rules
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
  • Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform labor-intensive tasks
  • Proven experience as a flatbed driver; crane experience preferred
  • Proficient with manual/standard transmission
  • Forklift experience (certification preferred)
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety focus

Additional Information

Schedule:

 

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • Day shift; local work (home daily)

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

  • $20+ per hour DOE
  • Weekly pay through Gem State Staffing
