Gem State Staffing is hiring a Staffing Recruiter / Coordinator for our Idaho Falls office! This is a full-time internal position (not a temp job), ideal for someone with office experience, strong customer service skills, and a desire to grow in the staffing and recruiting industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist branch manager with daily office operations
• Interview, recruit, and place candidates in job assignments
• Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding
• Accurately process employee payroll and weekly payouts
• Perform audits and maintain accurate employee records
• Use staffing software to manage client orders and applicants
• Respond to incoming calls from clients and employees
• Work 40 hours/week with occasional flexibility outside regular hours

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in recruiting, HR, staffing, or administrative coordination
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptable to a fast-paced environment

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across various levels within the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of the recruitment process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike. The Recruiter will utilize various sourcing strategies, including social media management and campus recruitment, to ensure a diverse pool of candidates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full-cycle recruiting for various positions including technical roles, executive searches, and internal promotions.
• Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Lever, Workday, or iCIMS to manage candidate pipelines effectively.
• Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through HR sourcing, social media platforms, and cold calling.
• Engage in talent management activities including employee orientation, evaluation, and relations to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
• Conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications while ensuring compliance with employment & labor law.
• Maintain relationships with universities for campus recruitment initiatives and develop programs for succession planning.
• Provide training & development support for new hires to enhance their onboarding experience.
• Manage contracts related to recruitment services and maintain accurate records in HRIS systems like Paychex or UltiPro.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruiting across various sectors with a focus on technical recruiting and executive recruiting preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-making processes.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; adept at relationship management with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Kronos or Salesforce is a plus.
• Knowledge of employee evaluation methods and employee relations best practices.
• Ability to conduct research effectively to identify potential candidates through lead generation techniques.
• Experience with training & development initiatives is desirable.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in an office setting
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High level of computer competency and fast learner with new software
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and recordkeeping
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and MVR check
• Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
