Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires a commitment to quality and safety while working on construction sites or in a fabrication shop environment.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints to fabricate metal components.
  • Perform welding tasks using various methods, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding).
  • Utilize hand tools and machinery such as plasma cutting equipment and press brake machines to shape and assemble metal parts.
  • Execute pipe threading operations as required for specific projects.
  • Ensure all work meets industry standards for quality and safety.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.

Additional Information

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with various welding techniques, including FCAW, MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Experience with hand tools and machinery commonly used in fabrication work.
  • Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • *** MIG + STICK required 1 year of experience, a welding test will occur to receive employment offer
  • **MUST PROVIDE AND BE ABLE TO BRING A HOOD + GLOVES
