Gem State Staffing-Caldwell is seeking full-time Welder & Chassis Assemblers for one of our favorite clients in Caldwell, ID. This temp-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Perform production welding and chassis assembly.
• Work in a fast-paced, indoor construction environment with steady hours (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with potential overtime and some Saturday work).

Work Environment:

• Year-round indoor construction work, unaffected by weather.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of production welding experience (must be listed on application).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand for 10-hour shifts, and bend, crawl, or climb as needed.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, sketches, and accurately using a tape measure.
• Skilled in welding .035 hard wire in various positions, using oxy-acetylene torch, plasma cutter, hand grinders, and other hand tools.
• Ability to safely work while wearing heat-resistant gloves and protective masks.
