Job Description

Gem State Staffing is currently accepting applications for a full time Water Softener Installation Technician position in Twin Falls. The position is long term, temp-to-permanent. This job will be responsible for performing all installations of water softener systems and other water purification equipment, such as our high-end reverse osmosis water filters.

 Responsibilities:

• Physically you will need to be prepared to carry 50lb bags of salt, water softener tanks that may weigh up to 100lbs, and other tools/equipment without a problem and regardless of steep terrain or stairs
• Provide service by installing, fixing, and maintaining water treatment systems
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and all those you interact with
• Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Document and improve checklists and processes used by other technicians
• Cooperate with the technician team and share information across the organization

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Ability to independently identify and resolve project issues
  • Enthusiastic, positive energy and motivated
  • Excellent oral, written communication, analytical skills, proven proficiency in Microsoft office.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and twist.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to multi task with little to no direction.
  • Be customer service oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and be a reliable individual.
  • Comply with company safety policies and regulations.
  • Must have valid Class D driver’s license and good driving history.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and a background check.
  • Some plumbing experience is a plus
