Job Description

Gem State Staffing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Representative for a local fertilizer company. This temp-to-hire position is located in Twin Falls. The Warehouse Representative will assist in all aspects of general warehouse duties. This will include, but is not limited to, stocking and retrieving packages and bulk containers, driving a forklift, and general housekeeping. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with a diverse customer base in a fast-paced setting.

Job Duties:

  • Receive and ship inventory items
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring no product leaves, or enters the warehouse without the necessary paperwork
  • Meet and complete all regulatory safety requirements
  • Attend product training sessions and meetings when necessary
  • Responsible for warehouse cleanliness
  • Ability to utilize weights and measures to accurately fill containers
  • Keep paperwork (load slips) in order and turned in on time
  • Pull Customer orders correctly for delivery
  • Notify Operations Manager immediately if product spills
  • All safety equipment will be worn at all times for your own safety
  • Responsible for reporting all mistakes immediately
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely, accurate, and appropriate manner

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Willingness to operate material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, and other equipment as required
  • Ability to repetitively bend and lift boxes and bags up to 80 pounds
  • Willingness and desire to work overtime hours during busy seasons
  • Have own reliable transportation to and from work
  • General maintenance and cleaning related tasks
  • Ability to lift up-to 80lbs unassisted
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation
  • Must have consistent steady work history
  • Knowledge and/or experience with agricultural operations (preferred but not required)
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills between both customers and fellow employees
  • Forklift Driver and Driving Certification (offered on the job)
  • Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Have a Willingness to learn
  • The motivation of a self-starter and Detail-oriented

Job type/duration: Full-time, temp to hire position

Pay Rate: $16.00-$20.00/hour DOE

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (one-hour lunch)

Location: Twin Falls, ID 83301
