Gem State Staffing is hiring an experienced Warehouse Material Handler for a permanent, full-time position in Jerome, Idaho. This role involves loading/unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other equipment, picking/packing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift up to 100 lbs, and follow all warehouse safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks; move materials to storage or production areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and RF scanners (certification provided if needed).
• Sort, label, and store products by order number, type, or product code.
• Conduct cycle counts, quality checks, and maintain accurate inventory.
• Prepare parcels for mailing or third-party delivery services.
• Keep work area clean and follow all safety protocols.
• Drive company delivery truck on assigned routes as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.
• Must be able to work efficiently unsupervised. 
• Must be able to bend, twist, crouch and stoop frequently over the course of a shift.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. 
• Must be available to list up to 100 lbs. if needed.
• Must be reliable and a motivated self-starter.
• Must be able to work efficiently unsupervised.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday–Friday, full-time hours
• Pay: DOE (Depends on Experience)
• Permanent position with immediate start

Minimum Age: 21 (requires for driving commercial vehicle over state lines)
