Gem State Staffing-Caldwell We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a QuickBooks expert with an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both physical and digital.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and GAAP standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (5+ years preferred).
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online is required.
• Have some understanding and practical application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate financial statements.
• Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. But not required.

Details

• Schedule: This is a part-time position with varying hours between 6 to 15 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and generally consists of Monday through Friday, with the possibility of working on Saturdays
• Pay rate will be $20hr-$28hr DOE.
