We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. Both Mig and Stick welding will be required and this includes both table and vertical welding.
*Responsibilities*
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform tasks
- Utilize various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Operate machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, and forklifts
- Inspect and test welded structures to discover flaws
- Conduct maintenance on welding equipment
*Qualifications*
- Proven experience as a Welder in a construction or manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with a variety of welding equipment and procedures
- Ability to operate hand tools such as calipers and power tools
- Knowledge of safety precautions related to occupational hazards of the trade
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
