Gem State Staffing is now hiring Truss Builders for a leading manufacturer of high-quality roof and floor trusses used in residential and commercial construction. These are temp-to-hire positions in a fast-paced production environment offering weekly pay, benefits, and career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Build and assemble trusses using blueprints and tools.
• Hammer gussets and plates into place.
• Operate saws, pneumatic nail guns, and roller machines.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure trusses meet specifications.
• Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints (preferred).
• Good communication and time management.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to work on your feet and in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements:

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Team player and safety-focused.
• Construction or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Work Environment:

• Indoor production facility with exposure to sawdust, noise, and varying temperatures.
• PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection) provided and required.
• Potential for evening or weekend shifts based on workload.
