Now Hiring Multiple CDL-Class A Drivers for Immediate Openings!

Gem State Staffing in Boise is actively hiring reliable and experienced Over-the-Road CDL Drivers to join our team. Drivers will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently across long distances, ensuring on-time deliveries, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

Job Description:

In this role, you will:

  • Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Transport goods across regional and national routes according to scheduled deliveries.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain accurate logs of working hours and driving activities.
  • Ensure the proper handling and secure delivery of freight.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and provide updates on delivery status.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and company policies.
  • Bed cap for overnights.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Pay Range: $0.60 per mile
  • Weekly pay
  • Long-term employment potential

Requirements:

Qualified applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Valid Class A CDL and Medical Card
  • Clean driving record (no major violations in the past 5 years)
  • Ability to lift 80–100 lbs consistently without assistance
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and twist as part of daily duties
  • Willingness to work overtime regularly
  • Forklift and construction experience a plus
  • Must comply with company safety standards
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
