We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various saws to cut materials according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate saws and cutting equipment to produce precise cuts on various materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges to ensure accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance on saws and cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
• Experience with laser cutting, plasma cutting, stamping press, or CNC machinery is preferred.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers.
• Knowledge of electrical discharge machining processes is advantageous.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely is a plus.
• Strong blueprint reading skills are essential for interpreting technical specifications.
