Gem State Staffing is seeking candidate for a Fabricator/Shop Helper for a full-time position in Kimberly.

Job Summary: Shop fabricator must prepare and load material orders for customers and installation crews at the direction of the shop manager. Primary duties include but are not limited to: gathering materials, building gates, cutting materials, routing materials, loading customers and crews, and cleaning. Picking fence materials for projects and customers. These things are to be done in the most efficient and expedient way possible.

Requirements:

• Experience in a fabrication shop preferred but not required
• Must have machine operator experience
• Able to pass a Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Ability to lift up-to 80lbs, as needed.
• Ability to read a measuring tape and use hand tools, saws etc.
• Must have stable work history
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather elements.
• Must be mindful of all safety practices.
• Must be able to bend, twist and stoop over the course of a work day.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, push and pull. 
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication techniques.
• Ability to operate various fabrication tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
