Gem State Staffing is hiring a Staffing Recruiter / Coordinator for our Idaho Falls office! This is a full-time internal position (not a temp job), ideal for someone with office experience, strong customer service skills, and a desire to grow in the staffing and recruiting industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist branch manager with daily office operations
- Interview, recruit, and place candidates in job assignments
- Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding
- Accurately process employee payroll and weekly payouts
- Perform audits and maintain accurate employee records
- Use staffing software to manage client orders and applicants
- Respond to incoming calls from clients and employees
- Work 40 hours/week with occasional flexibility outside regular hours
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in an office setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High level of computer competency and fast learner with new software
- Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and recordkeeping
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and MVR check
- Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in recruiting, HR, staffing, or administrative coordination
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
