Job Summary:
Gem State Staffing is seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic with a desire to learn a new industry. This position involves stacking, assembling, and utilizing hand tools in a warehouse setting. Mechanical knowledge and experience working with power tools is preferred.
Responsibilities:
-Help out in the production process by packaging, stacking material, palletizing, and performing quality checks in a warehouse environment
- Ability to learn the operation of various types of machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for production tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting strongly preferred
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and troubleshooting preferred but not required
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus
- Ability to stand for entire shift with repetitive lifting of 50 lbs

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

I have been in the staffing industry since 2010. I worked alongside Jeremiah and under Dustin to grow the Boise office into one of the most prominent branches in the area and within the company. In 2015, I became the Branch Manager for the Nampa location and in 2018, the District Manager over Eastern Idaho. Over the course of close to 6 years, I enjoyed seeing record growth in the 5 offices I oversaw. In the end of 2023 I entered an ownership agreement for a single location as part of an extension into Western Idaho/Eastern Oregon with a new office in Payette, ID. I believe that determination with customized individual solutions sets us apart, and I’m very excited for opening day of the new Payette Branch set to begin operations early-mid February 2024.
