Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers in a manufacturing environment
- Ensure that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Train and mentor production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among production staff
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a relevant field is a plus
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and materials
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Experience with plastics blow molding and/or plastics extrusion is highly desirable
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand tools and basic mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
