Gem State Staffing in Boise is currently recruiting and accepting applications for Lithographic Press Operator positions for a Manufacturing company in Boise.

Job Description:

This position is a long-term temp-to-hire assignment with a work week consisting of Monday thru Friday from 9am to approximately 5pm.In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lithographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. You must ensure all jobs are completed accurately, on time, and meet quality standards. Compensation for this position will be $19 to $21 an hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare lithographic printing presses for production runs.
• Load printing plates, adjust ink and water balance, and align paper.
• Operate the press and monitor print runs for consistent quality and accurate color.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on presses.
• Troubleshoot and resolve press issues during production.
• Inspect printed materials for errors or inconsistencies and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records, including press logs and job details.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with prepress and finishing departments to ensure job requirements are met.

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus).
• experience operating lithographic presses Bonus
• Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret production job tickets.
• Good color vision and understanding of color matching.
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive motion.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends, as needed.
